College Hill Egg Hunt!

As we do each year, we had out egg hunt after services on Sunday evening at College Hill. We missed it last year because we were in DC on Easter. Kate was very excited to hunt eggs with all her friends! She was not, however, impressed that the Easter Bunny was there. I thought, and maybe kind of hoped, that after meeting characters at Disney World she would be a little more receptive to the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus than she has been before. After all, it's the same concept. But I was unsuccessful in my attempts to get her anywhere near the cute little bunny in the purple checkered skirt. Oh well.

 The eggs? Forget it. She was all about the eggs! They always have some eggs for little ones in a designated area so they are sure to get some, because as you can see by the stampede, the big kids waste no time!

 This is probably the only photo I will get of Kate with the Easter Bunny from here on. She probably had no idea she was even that close to the bunny, otherwise she might have chosen a different path.

 After the eggs are all collected it's playtime!

 You know, now that I think about it, perhaps the Easter Bunny is just a little bit freaky. Maybe Kate isn't crazy after all?
