Halloween has begun

Tonight was Trunk 'r Treat at church, so we decided to carve a few pumpkins to decorate our car while we passed out candy. I don't expect them to make it until Friday night, but you never know. I'll have to soak them in the bathtub a few times this week for sure to keep them from drying out.

Nick took me to see The Merchant of Venice by Shakespeare on Friday night. He picks fun things to do on our date night. The play was excellent. We decorated his mother's yard for Halloween on Saturday in preparation for pumpkin night. The weather is getting colder and it's actually starting to feel like fall.
This one is called "Eye of Newt" carved by me.
I also carved this "Trick or Treat".Nick carved Spongebob mostly because we were taking it to church and he wanted to pick something kid-friendly.

Your pumpkins are always fun to look at. I hope they will make it to Friday. Will you be doing more?
