Kung-fu Errands

I followed a mom-mobile last night heading to church that had one of those flip-down DVD players. The kids were watching Kung-fu Panda. I am assuming now that every single time those kids get in the car they want the DVD player on. I remember riding in the back seat of Mom's car and actually singing along with the radio or talking to Mom while we drove. Don't kids do that anymore? I see the benefit of an in-car DVD for long road trips...but I fail to see the importance while tooling around town running errands.

I'm sure I just don't get it because I'm not a mother.
