Yia yia's Birthday

Every year during pumpkin carving time we get to celebrate Yia yia's birthday on the 29th.  Naturally this means her cake is always Halloween themed, but since Halloween is such an important part of our family it's all good.  Karyn made an adorable mummy cake and some yummy spice Halloween cookies this year.  She's getting really good with her cookie skills!

 

Kate helped give Yia yia her presents and even helped her open them.  It was a fun birthday!  We celebrated for a little bit and then got right back to carving.
