ICEmaggedon Day 3

Sunday started off the same way as the previous two days - frozen and cold. However by afternoon the termperature actually creeped above freezing for the first time since Thursday night so the solid ice in our yard began to soften just enough that we could actually get out and play in it. Sledding on the driveway didn't really work as well as the previous two days because of this, but we built a snowman and had a snowball fight instead.  Nick and I also spent a good hour shoveling off his half of the driveway so he would be able to get the car out on Monday.
Since it got up to 36 degrees, we were able to stay out for a couple of hours and play. It felt slightly warmed because there was no wind and the sun was shining bright. Kate had a blast, and spent part of the time playing with the little boy next door too. She finally got to make her snow angel as well.
