My pupils are dialated right now, so I'm wearing my sunglasses as I type this. That means I have that song stuck in my head....
I'm getting Lasik on 09/11/07!!! I'm SOOO excited. I've worn glasses/contacts ever since I was in the second grade....how old are 2nd graders, like 8? I don't know....but that's over 20 years ago and I'm so tired of messing with them. I went today for my pre-op tests and stuff. (That's why I'm dialated right now.) It was a lot more affordable than I thought it would be, which was basically the deciding factor over whether I would get it or not. (Well, that and my corneal thickness. It's thick enough.)
Being dialated is not fun. My eyeballs physically hurt right now and I'm mostly going on blind faith that I am typing correctly because I can't read very well with the dialation. The computer screen was way too bright, so I had to put my sunglasses back on. I should probably just go take a nap, but that doesn't seem very productive.

You know, my BIL had that done a year or two ago and he is so glad he did it. I hope everything goes perfectly the day you have it done.
