Hanging with the vultures

My job interview went well yesterday. I had to take one of those assessment tests and then another behavioral test online when I got home...do employers actually use these things when assessing new employees? The lady told me that she actually had people who failed them...how sad is that? I should hear from her today once the test results are assessed.

The building where this particular company is located is 10 stories and this company occupies the top floor. I was sitting in the lobby waiting for my interviewer, enjoying the view out of the floor to ceiling windows when this large turkey vulture landed on the window sill and just sat there. It was cool - he was only about 6 feet away from me on the other side of the window. I then realized that they were everywhere....turkey vultures and black vultures. I was told that they "live" around this building and the one next to it...just flying around all day and hanging out on the ledges. I realize vultures aren't by any means what you might describe as beautiful creatures, but it was still pretty fascinating for them to just be sitting right there....so close and easy to observe. So you know me, I took a couple of photos...here and here.
