Can't sleep

I haven't had many sleeping problems since my pregnancy began, except for the extra potty trips at night. Tonight for some reason was different. I woke up around 3 for my night time bathroom run and could not go back to sleep. The longer I laid there the worse it was, so I finally gave in and decided to get up for a little bit and work on sorting some photos, figuring that would make me sleepy again at some point. Here is it, 5 minutes until 6 am and I've finished sorting my photos, scanned in some others, uploaded them to Snapfish, played on Facebook, and have now resorted to blogging. I'm not tired. I still don't think I could go back to sleep and at this point why bother? I would just have to get up in an hour and a half for Bible class anyway. I am getting hungry though, so I am going to have to make myself some breakfast at some point.

Yesterday was the longest day! I had to get up at 5:30 to get dressed for the Komen Race for the Cure. There were only 6 of us from my church that actually got to walk yesterday. Several of our Moms had kid's games to go to, so they had to miss. We had a blast though, and I made it although I wasn't sure how it would affect me this year since it was my first time walking pregnant. Pretty much the only difference is that it made me way more tired than in previous years although I did have a pretty bad pain behind my left knee by the time we were done. I'm still glad I did it.

We went to a wedding last night in Waxahachie, which is about an hour drive from our house. It was nearly 10 by the time we got home so I was definitely ready for bed. Strange isn't it? Such an exhausting day, and at 3 am I'm wide awake. I just hope my Dad doesn't mind when I crash this afternoon on his couch. We're going over to have Easter lunch with them.

James and I had a similar not able to sleep problem on Thursday or Friday. We got up for the day at 4:30 am. But I had been laying there for awhile trying to decide whether or not to get up. Just when I decided to get up James rolled over and asked me what I was doing. He couldn't sleep either. Oh, BTW, love the Dr. Suess room! That is going to look great. Glad you are doing well.
