I don't know about your 4th of July, but ours was jam-packed!
It started off at 6:30 in the morning with Nick running in his first ever 5K race which he finished in 33:05. I'm so proud of him! 
The 5k was followed by a large feast at my mother-in-law's house.
The feast was followed by a very sweet proposal from Bill, my soon-to-be stepfather-in-law.
The proposal was followed by more sweetness of the fattening variety.
The sweets were followed by a swim in the pool.
The pool was followed by fireworks.

Okay 1) WAY TO GO NICK!! That is soooo wonderful! What an awesome accomplishment! 2) All that food looks nummy!! WoW! 3) The proposal picture IS SO ADORABLE!
