See you later
Sunday was our last day with Ty and Jenn at church. The family is now in Kansas, hopefully safely, and probably tired from driving but glad to be at their destination. The same sense of relief is not flowing around here.Nick and I have been a part of College Hill since February of 2006. It feels like a lot longer because of the amazing friendships we've made since becoming a part of the family there. Ty and Jenn were a small, but important, part of that family. In some ways it won't seem like they are gone. I'm thankful that I live in a time period where distant friends can so easily connect with each other. I'm sure I'll still have been poked by Jenn every time I log on to Facebook, because she just won't give up and let me win. Secretly I don't want her to though. We will be able to follow along with the new adventures in Kansas via her blog, and there's always email when everything else fails. It's a lot easier to keep in touch and for most of the week it won't even seem like they are gone. That won't be the case on Sundays and Wednesdays when they aren't sitting in their pew and Anna isn't running around with the other kids after services. That's when it will hurt the most.I look forward to hearing about their new life in Kansas and will keep secretly wishing that at some point Jenn will go crazy from all the corn and cows and come running back to Fort Worth. Until then, there's always Facebook.

you have been truly blessed with friends. The internet will keep you all connected and I'm sure you'll visit each other too. (((hugs)))
What a beautiful story of friendship and the God's love for you, Brandi, to bestow this blessing on you! Lovely pictures and equally lovely words!
