On our last day in Colorado, we decided to take Trey and Kate to the Cliff Dwellings in Manitou Springs. Trey really wanted to do some more hiking, so we thought this would be a fun compromise. He could explore the dwellings and learn a little something at the same time.
It was pretty interesting. Trey loved it and I am pretty sure he might have spent the night in one of those little houses if he could have.
Kate was, much to her father's dismay, pretty much fearless when it came to the stairs and ledges and windows. In fact, she made an attempt to climb inside almost every window that was her height. I think Nick gained a few more gray hairs that day.
