Feeding the Ducks

One day last week Kate and I went to the park so we could feed the ducks before we played on the playground.  I had saved some bread in the freezer as well as some cornbread.  I learned two things about cornbread that day: ducks don't like it and it sinks to the bottom when thrown into a pond.

Kate had fun chunking it at them anyway.  She didn't quite understand when they got their fill and swam away.  So we went off to find the playground again and along the way she stopped to admire the statues and also chase a butterfly.

 We finished by playing for a little while.  Care Bear really enjoyed swinging with Kate, I think.
