For Memorial Day we went to Waxahachie and spent the day with lots of friends at Mandy's place. She grilled yummy hamburgers and hot dogs for everyone, and we all brought chips and drinks and cookies. It was a fun, low-key and relaxing day. Despite it being kind of hot today, Waxahachie seems to always have a breeze blowing so it was quite nice sitting out under the shade of her patio.

The kids played on the slip 'n slide and the small blow-up pool that Mandy bought for them to swim in. Yeah, that one in the background is running around naked. I guess it's okay to streak when you're only 2.
We took advantage of the breeze and had a lot of fun blowing bubbles all day. The kids chased them and took turns blowing their own. I did my fair share as well.
It was a great way to kick off summer and spend time with people that you love. Thanks, Mandy!
