Christmas Morning - Santa!

Yes, Santa came to visit despite the fact that he really didn't need to because Kate really didn't need any more toys than she had already opened on Christmas Eve. Perhaps Santa went a little overboard this year...just a tiny bit.  We got home kind of late on Christmas Eve night, so our normal evening routine was a bit off schedule. Couple that with a whole pile of new toys that we brought home from Yiayia's house that she insisted we open that night, and we had a bit of a struggle to get her to sleep because she kept asking tp open "just one more." Kate finally went to bed and Santa got busy setting everything out for her.  Nick and I didn't even realize until the next day that we totally forgot to set out cookies and milk for Santa, and it would be several days later that Kate actually realized we didn't set any out. I quickly said something about Santa probably being on a diet this year.

 Santa did really good this year. He went to Build a Bear and made two of the Little Ponies for Kate (she's only missing Pinky Pie now) and he also got her the Holiday 2013 Barbie that she had been coveting at the store every.single.time. we saw it.

 He brought the Lalaloopsy doll that sings and her hair spins that she wanted too.

 Kate woke us up at 7:20 am. Keep in mind that Mommy and Daddy didn't get to bed until after 1 am, you know, because we were helping Santa set all the gifts out. We were really not excited about her waking up so early, and Nick sort of watched her open her gifts in between dozing off.

 Santa even surprised her with an Angelina Ballerina doll, which wasn't on her list. She loves Angelina, so she was quite excited.

 I asked Kate to show me how happy she was....I'd say that's pretty happy.
