More Abandonement Fun

Some members of my photography club met up in Weatherford to tour the Mount Pleasant Colored School, which is in the midst of being restored so it can become a museum. It's been closed since desegregation. Since it was over halyway restored, it wasn't quite as cool as we had hoped as for as neat photo ops went, so we got a tip from a fellow club member about a cool abandoned house nearby and set off to explore. A newspaper on the kitchen floor was dated March 24, 1985, so I guess it's been sitting empty for 30 years. I would believe it. Enjoy!
