Nature has really done a good job at reclaiming the land that these abandoned houses sit on. We had to hack our way through lots of brush to get inside some of these places. In the spring and summer, I'm willing to bet that some of these houses are barely even visible.
I'm still amazed at the items just left, rotting, as if the people simply vanished one day. I have friends who collect this stuff now. Here it all is, just sitting in the elements, waiting for...well, nothing I guess.
