Concan/San Antonio Vacation Day 2, the aftermath

Once we had calmed down from our river floating excursion and got back to the house, it was time to devour some lunch because we hadn't eaten yet. The measly bags of chips we all had during one of our river breaks had worn off. We kept lunch simple for the week - sandwiches and chips will be the menu for the duration of the trip.

After lunch we decided to do a non-river related activity and walked over to our resort putt-putt course for a game. Even though their course was in pretty bad shape, we ended up playing 36-ish holes. The kids had fun, which was the important part.
Tonight was fajita night for supper, so I cooked beef and chicken fajitas and made guacamole for me, Heather and Nick. After filling our bellies, we changed back into swimsuits and headed down to our river access point so we could swim for a little while. The river access area that is owned by our resort is in a really calm part of the river and the current is not very swift at all, so it's perfect for the kids to swim in.

After we finished at the river, it was time to start our evening campfire so we could make s'mores again because when you have a campfire at night, you make s'mores. It's a rule that must not be broken. Before bath time a pretty intense game of Go Fish took place, and then it was off to bed.
