Happy Birthday Nana!

Nana turned 87 years old today, and we decided to surprise her after school this afternoon. Kate picked out some pretty flowers from Albertsons and insisted that we get Nana a cupcake as well (probably because she knew she would get to help eat it) and we headed to the house to deliver our treats along with our gifts.

 We are blessed to have this lady in our life! I'm so thankful that Kate not only has some great grandparents but a pretty special great grandmother to spoil her as well. She and Nana often play school when they're together. Kate has helped her bake cookies and other treats on many occasions. I pray that God keeps her in good health for many years more (or as Kate said the other day, until she's 100. Because when you turn 100, that's when you're supposed to die.)
