Since it was ridiculously warm on Christmas day, we were able to spend quite a bit of time playing outside and running around the park before we opened gifts at Pop and Nannie's house. We had our big Christmas feast when we arrived, and then the kids decided to play outside before it got dark and we opened gifts after that.
As is tradition, Jason and Nick threw the frisbee around for a while and the kids played. Kate put a couple of miles on her new scooter, for sure. She really loves it.
Then it was time for gifts! Everyone was excited about their new toys. Kate got a couple more Ever After High dolls and a new Barbie, as well as some crafty items we can do together. Nannie loves to buy craft stuff for the girls, probably because she enjoys doing crafts so much herself.
Just like that....Christmas was finished.
