Pancakes with Santa

Kate's first meeting with Santa occurred yesterday at her school. The PTA put on a pancake breakfast with Santa, along with some crafts and the school choir sang some carols for us. We happened to arrive at the same time as Kate's friend Tatum, so we sat with her and her mom and little sister Tillie. It was a lot of fun and the girls had a blast. They didn't get much time with Santa though, since the line to see him was quite lengthy, so all Kate got to do was take a photo. She was a little sad that she didn't get to tell him about her Christmas list (trust me, there isn't enough time for that - it's a long list).

 After leaving the school, Kate and I spent the rest of the day shopping. We hit up Kohls and Walmart, then headed to Hallmark and JC Penney. It was at JCP that we managed to run into none other than Santa again...and this time he was able to spend a little more time with Kate and she got to tell him a couple of things she wanted for Christmas.
