We made it! 180 days of school and she can't decide if she's excited about summer or sad about school being over!
Kate woke up pretty easily today, rather than complaining about being tired like she has done the past month or so. I think her little body is ready for this summer break. She ate her breakfast quickly so she could write a note to her teacher in the thank you card that we bought, and then we got dressed so she could take her last day photos.
She has grown so much this year, and really not just physically. Her personality has blossomed and she has overcome some of her shyness. She has loved school so, so much, and I think a lot of that has to do with her wonderful teacher and good friends. She also loves to learn though, so that helps. She's reading like a champ and Daddy gets really excited when she does math.
For now we will have a summer of fun before we start thinking about first grade!
