Field Day!

One of the exciting parts of the end of school is always field day. I remember when I was in elementary school and we would actually walk from our school several blocks through a neighborhood to get to the large city park for the day. It was always super excited and really fun to get to do that. Kate's field day was a tad bit rainy, but that didn't stop them from having a blast. They played a lot of water games anyway, so the kids were going to get wet one way or another.

 She spent most of her day playing with Alyssa, who has become one of her really good friends this year. They are both in Mrs. Ostlie's class together. We've had several playdates with Alyssa this year and since they live not far from our house I'm sure we will see her a lot this summer too.

  Alyssa and Kate are both missing the same teeth right now, which is really funny. I'm not sure they hav ea full set between the two of them!
