Award-winning First Grader

Yearbook signing party.........awards........last day of school.......moving on to second grade's greener pastures. It's finally here! School is out for summer.

Kate received three awards for the end of the year: Citizenship, Positive Actions, and a reading award that came with a free Six Flags ticket. She was very excited that she received all three!

 The last day was only a half day of school, and it was both a happy day and a sad day. Kate will miss her teacher, her friends for the summer, and school in general because she really enjoys it. But she's also excited for the break and not having to get up at 6:30 each morning (as is Mommy!)
