First outing of summer?

After school was over today, Kate and I went to the Northwest Community Park near our house because it was such a beautiful day. We haven't really explored it completely so it seemed like a nice way to kick off summer.

 We found some pretty purple flowers and watched the fish in the pond for a while. The water is super clear so you can see the fish from the pier pretty well. We walked along the dry creek bed for a little while and discovered that there is a waterfall there, when there is enough rain.
