Just had to share my good buying prowess with you all. We registered for but did not receive a second car seat base to put in Nick's car. We needed the Chicco Keyfit 30 base in anthracite. It's listed for $79.99 at Babies 'r Us and with our "buy everything off your registry" coupon we could have saved $8 on that. But I'm thriftier than that, so I went searching online for the same base. Not that we don't have around $150 in gift cards to spend at BRU...it's just that base was going to use up over half of that.
Hello Amazon.com. They sell the exact same base for $61.95, plus it qualifies for their free super saver shipping. Sweet deal huh? I save $18 on the base. But wait, there's more.
We have an Amazon.com Visa that we earn rewards bucks with when we use the card. We just recently racked up enough points (especially after Nick buying all the Cowboys tickets for Brad's bachelor party on our Visa) to earn another $25 Amazon.com reward certificate. Know what that means?
That means I just ordered our extra car seat base for $36.95. Sweet.
