For Christmas, my brother gave us a gaming system that will play old school video games from the original Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, and other game systems. It's a super cool gift and I'm sure we'll get a lot of use out of it. They gave us each a couple of Mario Bros. games. Being the video game nerd that my husband can be, Nick still owns all of his Sega Genesis games.
The other night he decided to play some Sonic the Hedgehog, and after trying to figure out how on earth to keep Kate from turning off the game system while he was playing, we discovered the best way to keep her at bay was to let her play too.
Well at least she thinks she's playing. We gave her the second controller so she could help Daddy.
