This year Kate is getting to participate in VBS for the first time! We missed the first night because of our trip, and Monday night she didn't get to go because she was at Nick's Mom's house giving Mommy and Daddy a break. (Thank you!) But last night she made her VBS debut and I think she had a lot of fun.
I had to steer clear of her classroom because had Mommy been spotted, it would have been all over. Thankfully Mandy was in her class to take photos so I don't have to totally miss her experience.
Each of the kids in class has a box of props that they use while Miss Stacey sings songs to them. Here, Kate is driving her car to Bible class.
They take turns ringing the bell for class to begin. Most of the kids bang on the bell, but Kate does it quite daintily.
Here Kate is being a frog so she can catch the flies before hopping her frog into the pond.
They feed (and kiss) their pigs and sheep with the corn.
This big cow nods her head.
They also take time to smell (and share) the flowers.
