A Little Lesson in Giving

Yesterday while we were shopping at Hobby Lobby, I noticed our first Salvation Army bell ringer of the season.  I didn't have much change, only 14 cents, but I dug it out of my purse and gave it to Kate so she could put the money in the bucket.  Since she couldn't reach the bucket, the bell ringer took it off the hook and held it at Kate's level. It was really sweet, and I was happy she could give a little bit even if she did it only because it was a game for her.

Between you and me, I now fear that every single Salvation Army bucket we see Kate will want to stick coins in it...guess I better refill my wallet.
