Meet the Teacher

It's almost time for pre-school to start again, and Kate is so ready! We had Meet the Teacher tonight, and on the way to school Kate admitted that she was a little nervous. Her nerves calmed pretty quickly once we arrived and she was joined in her new classroom by one of her classmates from last year, Amelia. I was happy she had an instant friend because that always helps! As it turns out, her class this year has 3 or 4 of the same kids from last year so she will have a pretty easy time adjusting.

Her teacher this year is Mrs. Terri. She has some big shoes to fill in Kate's eyes because she adored Mrs. Lisa last year, but I think she will do just fine. I had been telling Kate all summer that she could still go across the hall and see Mrs. Lisa every day if she wanted to....and then we found out that Lisa and her family moved this summer. Oh no!
