Busy day!

Saturday was an eventful day! We started off our day by meeting up with Cassidy and Susan, Ana and Rachel, and Natalie and Kristeen at the movies to see Cinderella again. It's such a good movie. AFter the movies we headed over to Jason's Deli for some lunch and chit chat time.

 On our way home from Grapevine, Kate and I detoured up to Flower Mound because I had heard there was a pretty patch of bluebonnets out that way and I wanted to get some photos of Kate in them. We had brought along a change of clothes for her, and to find the bluebonnets we ended up doing just a bit of hiking. Kate didn't want to leave, but we were not dressed for an outdoor adventure, so we decided to come home, grab Nick, and then go do some more hiking later in the day.

 We ended up back out at Eagle Mountain Lake Park, which is where we went hiking the last time. We were going to take a different trail this hike, but a large group of pretty loud people had just headed up that way so we decided to just do the same trail we did last time to avoid people. By the time we got back to the car, we had walked 3.25 miles and Kate managed just fine the whole way. She did get a tad whiny during the last 20 minutes or so, but she was a trooper.
